Huawei Cloud SAP Summit held with the view of advancing Cloud Computing Potential
Huawei Cloud SAP 2023 Summit was held at Huawei Bangladesh Academy in Gulshan of the capital. The summit was organized by Huawei South Asia in association with Fusion Infotech. This summit was organized to shed light on the business organizations of Bangladesh and utilize the capabilities of cloud technology and its potential at work.
Around 100 traders, experts, cloud professionals and customer representatives from this sector participated in this conference. Attendees got a first-hand look at the power of cloud technology and related innovations. In addition, participants experienced a reflection of Huawei's commitment to accelerate the journey of digital transformation by strengthening the ecosystem built with partners and increasing their capabilities. The event participants had the opportunity to network and learn about the limitless potential of cloud technology in the local context. It highlighted how Huawei Cloud will help businesses increase their efficiency and help them meet the challenges of their respective sectors.
Md. Shajahan Ahmed, Business Development Manager of Cloud Department of Huawei South Asia was in charge of conducting this event. The conference had three parts (Plenary Session, Cloud Session and Reward and Recognition). Alex Lee, Vice President of Huawei South Asia's Cloud Department and Jisan Ahmed, Managing Director of Fusion Infotech Limited delivered keynote speeches at the keynote event. They shed light on the technological transformation, the current situation and what can be done to expand business through the use of the cloud. Rajeeb Imran, Head of SAP Delivery at Fusion Infotech described the practical aspects of Huawei Cloud SAP and explained how SAP users and customers can increase their efficiency and ensure maximum optimization utilizing these cloud services.
Alex Lee, VP of Huawei South Asia, said, “Huawei is working to unlock the potential of cloud technology and empower businesses through the cloud. The cloud has brought radical changes in the way businesses operate. We feel it is our responsibility to help businesses ensure stronger data security and increase return on investment (ROI) by providing cloud benefits.”
Fusion Infotech Limited Managing Director Jisan Ahmed in his speech emphasized the trend of digital transformation in Bangladesh and urged all the stakeholders to work together in making appropriate policies to make the sector more dynamic. During the event, IFAD and Western Engineering (HWC SAP customer) representatives shared their experiences using Huawei's cloud services. A question and answer session was also held. As a result, everyone got solutions to various complex problems related to cloud computing in practical work. After the session, a ceremony was organized, where Alex Lee presented the crest in recognition of Huawei Cloud Bangladesh associates.
It may be noted that SAP is one of the world's leading software manufacturers for managing business operations. SAP deals with various functional data processing information flow management. On the other hand, in recent years, Huawei Cloud has been playing a leading role in the cloud sector and has achieved global positive progress in cloud-related innovation and technology. In this regard, the number of Huawei partners is also gradually increasing.
